East Sioux Falls was a town of 500 to 600 people in 1888, mostly made up of workers recruited to cut the Jasper Quartzite that was mined nearby into stones used for the construction of roads and buildings. Wayne Fanebust, author and former resident of East Sioux Falls, will lead us on a talk and walk to learn more about our historical town site. Cost is $5.00 per person.
