12 weeks, 20 hours per week average, $16.25/hour

The Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum, just east of Sioux Falls, protects 155 acres of hiking trails, gardens, and the historic quarry town of East Sioux Falls. The Arboretum Education Intern works alongside the Arboretum's Education Coordinator to develop and execute authentic and engaging programming that connects visitors to the nature and history of this special place. The intern will also have the opportunity to develop creative, informational social media posts about all the Arboretum has to offer. We're looking for someone with a fun, energetic attitude who's enthusiastic about working with visitors of all ages. Hours can be somewhat flexible under the direction of the Education Coordinator.
